to restore a proper religious structure to the existing Buddhist community.
to respect vernacular settlement pattern of the local community.
to include local know how to design disaster resilient structure.

Popis projektu

I had chosen ‘Buddhist temple complex at milonchori, BAndarban’ as my thesis project to complete B. Arch course. After in receipt of this project, I have collected information about the history & the objective of the Buddhist religion & philosophy in our country & foreign countries. Also I have collected information about the client, their motive & the user group of this project.

Technické informace

topography, location & height of high area & valley could be perfect to place the functions around a spiritual pathway
-the calm & pacified environment is perfect for the project
-the locals of the area, specially the tribes are sympathetic to Buddhism.
-sufficient foreign funding.
