Idea projektu

This building is one of the two housing units of the Project. These are collective dwellings. Indeed this module is designed for families of three people but especially for students. Due to an arrangement of Reading activities (Library) and Restoration, the building should complement the services of a University Center nearby (South West, between Villas and collective housing).

The site is located in a territory where it snow during the winter. Therefore, sloping roofs are necessary for the rapid evacuation of the snow accumulated by the roof.
This module offers a new view of sloping roofing in this locality. It tries to marry the sloping roof frequently used in this zone by a space of circulation between two volumes in interposed slopes. In addition there are balconies to relax the students, integrated into the building by interchanging each level of the ground floor on the 3rd floor. The slopes of the restoration and the Library are such that the height under ceiling is sufficiently large bringing a maximum of lighting in the interior.

Technické informace

The dwellings of this project are located on a topographically high area. In order to integrate the spirit of the region of Ifrane (the city of Ifrane), these buildings are distant but just as close to each other. The landscape view being essential in the region, the zones of afforestation are integrated in the very middle of the coposition of these modules. The materials used are naturally wood and stone for the approval of the facades but also the interiors of the apartments. The structure is evidently made up of columns and bearers of great thickness. The majority of the glass reflected the circulation volume, but also the opening of the exterior views.
