Idea projektu

The aim was to design a minimalist fishing shed that would provide a cozy shelter for fishing trips in the summer months. I am a fisherman myself since a young age. Through the years, I started to get annoyed by how much time and effort it takes to pack up my fishing gear, to drive to the lake and to move from a parking lot to a lake shore. Just then you are finally able to unpack everything. With my project, I wanted to shorten this process as much as possible. It should also be a place that would allow you to loosen up your mind and to enjoy the breathtaking nature. To spice things up a bit, I tried to incorporate my project onto a lake, which would allow the hunters to get into a boat even more quickly and easily.

Popis projektu

The whole complex is divided into two objects. The larger object is located closer to the shore and serves as a residential area. Its center is a living room, completed with a relaxation area with hammocks. Bathroom and utility room are separated. An uncovered terrace is also connected to the object, allowing to grill caught fish on fire. The other object is smaller and serves as a fishing workshop, where all equipment can be stored.

Technické informace

The dominant material is wood. All walls are made of a wooden pillar structure, the facade is made of laths in a natural dark shade and the whole building is supported by a structure of wooden beams. The building is placed at a sufficient height to protect it from surface fluctuations and waves. Heating is provided by a fireplace and heated floors. Electricity is obtained through solar panels on the roof. Windows can be protected with a custom removable wooden plates, which act as a shield against bad weather.
