Youth Center in Historical Peninsula

Idea projektu

Project location in Tophane , that area have unique situation because of the enviroment . Enviroment is historical peninsula . When I started to analysis to area first interesting thing is there was a building ottoman period. Old maps shows that in that period there were some buildings so after this analyses that can be historical monument under the ground .

Block Typologies , there is three type of the blocks which is affected of the placing of a building . Most of the space in Tophane porous block typologies thats why I try to open streets and connection to the other street thats after this situation building is starting to live with the enviroment which is space is not only for user , space design for all the public and youth.

Organic form is reflecting that old and new interection in a good way , main idea want to give that project is not only purpose of the make it something new . Thats area possibly archeological area and excavate all the area to what is under the soil. Thats monuments are going to exhibition of the inside of the youth center with a special space.

In fact , rather than to make it something vertical project aim is use all land for horizantal way and not affected badly for historical peninsula and building just 6 meter height thats give to historical area affecting good way which old buildings not affected view side.

Summarize of that building purpose not only form issues , that form gives to structure , gate , stair etc. not only shell this a functional idea and between to old and new.
