Idea projektu

Základní idea celého projektu výstavní galerie v Holešovicích je velice jednoduchá. Přistupovat ke stavbě, jako by to bylo sochařské dílo. Vzniká nám tak dokonalé propojení designu budovy s jejím účelem. Hlavní vstup i boční křídla působí velice monumentálně, elegantně a majestátně, zatímco ostré kubistické hrany celkové struktury zase působí hravým dojmem. Celá stavba je tudíž vyvážená a dramatická.

The basic idea of the whole exhibition gallery project in Holešovice is very simple. Approach the building as if it were a sculpture. This creates a perfect connection between the design of the building and its purpose. The main entrance and side wings look very monumental, elegant and majestic, while the sharp cubistic edges of the overall structure give a playful impression. The whole building is therefore balanced and dramatic.

Popis projektu

Před majestátním vstupem se nachází venkovní odpočinkový prostor s vodní plochou navazující na park. Při vstupu hlavním vchodem se dostaneme do nádherné vstupní haly, které dominuje hlavní schodiště a velkolepý křišťálový lustr. Vstupní hala skýtá recepci, šatnu a bar. Na vstupní halu v 1.NP navazují ještě dva výstavní sály, dva konferenční sály, aukční síň a administrativa galerie. Do dalších výstavních sálů ve 3.NP se dostaneme výstupem po hlavním schodišti ze vstupní haly nebo z dílčích sálů v 1.NP. Samozřejmostí je propojení výtahem. Podzemní prostory slouží jako depozitáře a technické zázemí.

In front of the majestic entrance there is an outdoor relaxation area with a water surface adjoining the park. At the entrance through the main entrance we get to the magnificent entrance hall, which is dominated by the main staircase and a magnificent crystal chandelier. The lobby offers a reception, a cloakroom and a bar. The entrance hall on the first floor is connected with two exhibition halls, two conference halls, an auction hall and gallery administration. The other exhibition halls on the 3rd floor can be reached by climbing the main staircase from the entrance hall or from the partial halls on the 1st floor. Of course there is a lift connection. The underground spaces serve as depositories and technical facilities.

Technické informace

Hravého pláště bylo dosaženo použitím kombinace ocelové prostorové příhradoviny a GFRC kompozitních panelů. Ostré hrany jsou v noci zdůrazněny LED pásky. Vnitřní nosné stěny jsou ze železobetonu.

The playful casing was achieved using a combination of steel spatial lattice and GFRC composite panels. Sharp edges are highlighted at night by LED strips. Internal bearing walls are made of reinforced concrete.
