Reconstruction of Belgrade Hippodrome

Adhering to the principle of unification and interaction leads to the formation of new spatial structures on the site that will create a new architectural seal in a given matrix. The complex racecourse is divided into four zones:

Zone I: Public space (ticket office, forums, betting, museum, paddock,
terrain for training horses, space for journalists)
Zone II: The space for horses (administration, veterinarian, room preparation food, grain silo, storage of fresh food, the stable circle, space for staff)
zone III: Riding school with a tower / belvedere (preparatory boxes, indoor and outdoor arena, hippotherapy)
zone IV: Restaurants

Popis projektu

The entire complex racecourse is planned so that pedestrians enable unrestricted access, so for them the greatest extent was necessary functional connection with the surrounding content. The main access to the complex from the racecourse is enabled Paštrovićeva street. Users of all content is
enabled smooth movement, freeing this space wagon flows (provided the underground garage). This has improved the entire complex ecological environment, favoring users.

The first zone is the space devoted to audience. It is consisted of: ticket office, forums, betting, paddock, museum, restaurant, rooms for conferences and terrain for training horses. The main building of the first zone consists of stands that consist of ground floor, basement, three floors above ground level and one
floor below ground level is predicted for garage and technical rooms. The ground floor is fully acquitted, despite the vertical communication and forums makes it the bar with a gallery that, if necessary, can be opened and closed depending on weather conditions. To the second floor can be reached directly ramp or vertical communication and she completely walkable. Escalators on the left side of the object can be accessed directly to the third floor where are located the roof terrace with bookmakers, journalists and space for a restaurant that is glazed and overlooks the entire complex while the floors above are bleachers. Capacity is up to 5,000 people.

The second zone is the space devoted to horses. It consists of: veterinarian, facilities for the preparation of food, grain silos, storage of fresh food, the stable circuit, room for staff, administration. The entire space is defined by lines of movement that influenced the organization of space. Capacity stalls for horses is 80.

Third zone belongs to school riding academy with its own parking. From the atrium of the school you can access the tower from which one can see the entire complex racecourse. There is a separate wing where are located
preparatory boxes and warehouse saddle. Within the school there is a covered and closed arena and a small bar. What should be noted is that there is hippotherapy treatment equipment which includes wide straps around the horse, various aids, rings and other toys so the children can achieve the goals.

Fourth zone belong to the restaurants and the open arena.

Technické informace

Basic module of the object stands 16.2 m where the base is reinforced concrete
poles dimensions 60x60 cm. The project is also planned and set up
prefabricated concrete bleachers. Vertical communications are packaged in
reinforced concrete canvas. The roof structure makes the steel structure consisting of primary and secondary carriers. As truss
element consisting of a series of rods, interconnected in the nodes,
formed by a support in a stable structure. In this form of a straight lattice
suspension lies above the center of gravity of the total mass of the grid so it can not come to the overturning grilles around the supports due to the effect of horizontal forces of the wind acting perpendicular to the plane of the grid.
