Work description

The Educational Informatics Institute (https://www.iie.cl/) is an institution oriented to the design and implementation of projects, studies and consultancies associated with the use of Digital Technologies in educational contexts. In this context, students performing internships are integrated into interdisciplinary teams that develop software and web systems for the institute´s projects. The role of international students along the internship will be to support the development of products and activities committed to the project assigned.In concrete, the activities carried out during the internship time are the follows:- Programming of software or systems assigned,- Participation in periodic design and presentation of intermediate prototypes or products,- Elaboration or development of materials and/or intermediate products of the assigned project,- Bibliographic review related with the assigned project,- Support in field activities associated with the assigned project,- Writing reports associated with the assigned projects,- Presentation of progress of tasks entrusted,- Among other tasks related.*Start dates are flexible.*There is a one-week break in September because of Chile's national holidays (Sep 18-22) . If the internship takes place during September, please consider an extra week.
