Idea projektu

The hotel project originated as a semestral work, inspired by postmodernism and specifically the architectural language of the Palace of Youth in Prishtina. The design concept incorporates a sloped roof and protruding cubes, strategically positioned to provide optimal views, creating a dynamic and engaging visual experience.

Popis projektu

This project envisions a modern city hotel designed to accommodate the business class. The building offers a range of functional spaces, including comfortable guest rooms, conference halls, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and other essential facilities. The skeletal construction ensures flexibility in spatial organization, while the ventilated copper facade not only enhances energy efficiency but also provides a distinct architectural identity. The design, with its sloped roof and protruding cubes, creates dynamic interiors and maximizes views, reflecting a thoughtful balance of aesthetics and functionality.

Technické informace

The hotel’s structure is a skeletal construction made out of concrete, offering flexibility and strength with its open framework. The facade is designed as a ventilated system, featuring elegant copper cladding that not only enhances thermal efficiency but also adds a timeless aesthetic. Over time, the copper will develop a natural patina, giving the building a unique character that evolves with its surroundings.
