Idea projektu

ROTARC aims to enable the architecture student to complete ONE Project in ONE day. ROTARC works like a 'MACHINE', meaning that each stage allows students to continuously develop and shape their projects. What is important here is the approach of “understanding and working with the principles of systems”. The CIRCLE sequence provides the opportunity to continuously develop the project according to the needs with the understanding of “sensing and responding” and offers a process based on flow. The Project Circle offers a process that does not have a definite end, but continues in a continuous flow. This is achieved through a series of work halls, one after the other.

Popis projektu

ROTARC basically consists of 2 parts. These are the “Project Circle”, the working space, and the Courtyard, the meeting space.

Storm Hall This is the first stage where ideas are created and analyzed. In this room, a method of thinking that goes from “high concept to deep context” is adopted.
Drawing Hall: This is the room where designs take shape with large tables and digital tools. The student quickly intervenes in the project with BIM and AR technologies and makes the necessary adjustments.
Model Hall: The student receives the 3D print of the model he/she has made and makes the necessary interventions.
Layout Hall: It is the last stage of design. Here the student takes quality renderings, makes the project into a presentation and makes the final touches.

In the courtyard, which is the merging area, there is a coffee kiosk for socializing and an amphitheater where conferences, trainings and juries are held. There is also a path leading from this hall out of the building to the Institute of Architecture.
