Every action requires thought. For this reason, the phenomenon of thinking has emerged since the moment human existence and has become the basic principle of philosophy. In ancient Greece, the process of change of thought continued for centuries, from agoras where citizens exchanged ideas to science centers where scientific research was conducted. It is the most used thought system in scientific research. There are limited places where architecture students can do research at our university. Therefore, there is a need for an area at the university where students can research and generate ideas. A modern research center was designed inspired by the agoras used in ancient Greece.
The center of the design is the workshop area, which is the activity area where discussions, group work and idea generation take place. Other areas that support design are idea generation areas such as panels, symposiums, discussion and exhibition areas. There are working areas where individual thinking is practiced, a conference hall, a research room, a drawing workshop where group thinking is done, a stationery, a model workshop and a digital laboratory.
