This project encompasses the design of the "ARCHITECTURE MUSEUM AND ARCHITECTURE RESEARCH INSTITUTE" located within the Abant İzzet Baysal University campus in Bolu. The aim is to provide a unique architectural identity that supports artistic and academic activities. The structure integrates the fundamental elements of contemporary architecture with the concept of "identity," reflecting this approach at every stage of the design process.
The design prioritizes harmony with the site and surrounding structures, drawing references from the Faculties of Law and Agriculture to shape the mass movements. Emphasis has been placed on topographical adaptation and functional zoning. The façade movements are inspired by the aesthetic qualities and spatial flows of the neighboring buildings.
Material selection plays a pivotal role in reinforcing the concept of "identity." This project showcases a unique design that highlights architectural identity, embodies the principles of contemporary architecture, and harmonizes with its location, offering both aesthetic and functional contributions to the university campus.
