The City of Meditation is an architectural complex that creates a solution system aimed at forming a "meditative path". It is based on the socio-cultural development of modern society and a positive perception of the technological progress. The basic function of the meditative path is the harmony between the mechanistic world, humanity and ecosystems.
Based on engineering and technological aesthetics, the city of Meditation continues the philosophy of "ecological technocracy". It is a whole active mechanized organism that adapts, complements and develops the existing ecological systems.
Bio-rings. Recreational complex.
Reflexion and promoting the restoration of vitality are the most important components of meditation. The recreational complex on the left bank of the Volga River is connected to the main city by a cable car, that consists of differents mirror rings. Each of the rings has its own function, which is necessary for the normalization of the internal human biocycles. In order to not disrupt the unique forest ecosystem that has developed on the site, the recreational complex was raised on supports at a height of 30m above the ground.
Functional Career.
"Functional Career" is an innovative space in the city centre combining educational and recreational function. The Career descent to the "bottom" of the quarry is equipped with modular pavilions for different purposes, such as: co-working spaces, libraries, conference halls and cinemas. Such modules create a comfortable environment for work, learning and recreation, contributing to the cultural and intellectual development of the population. In addition, there are fruit orchards throughout the Career, making it an environmentally significant project, and a river flows, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony. "Functional Career" - is not only the centre of the city's socio-cultural life, but also a symbol of innovative, sustainable development.
The City of Meditation project includes the creation of an integrated infrastructure that ensures sustainable use of resources, reduces emissions and improves the quality of life of residents. The city will strive for energy autonomy by utilising renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, as well as integrating energy saving systems and smart consumption management. The project also includes the development of a waste management system using recycling and recovery technologies, efficient water supply through innovative water purification and reuse methods, construction of buildings made of environmentally friendly materials and integration of smart technologies to optimise energy and resource consumption. In addition, the project includes the development of public transport based on environmentally friendly technologies, the creation of bicycle lanes and pedestrian zones to reduce dependence on cars. This project aims to create a city that not only minimises its ecological footprint, but also provides comfortable living, working and recreational conditions for its residents.
