Octopuses have eight tentacles, each controlled by a separate brain. Because of this, the tentacles are autonomous, they can act separately from the rest of the body.
This idea formed the basis of the architecture of the object. Each wave has its own function. The waves are independent of each other, but inside the building they intertwine, creating a complex program.
The Octopus Cafe is not just a food outlet, but at the same time a public place that attracts people. The building consists of 3 parts: a cafe area, public “waves” where various types of activities are presented, as well as farms where visitors can grow products that will later end up in the kitchen.
The cafe is located in Moscow. It has 2 floors. Along the perimeter of the building there is a large amount of panoramic glazing.
