THE WORKING VILLA OF THE LÖW-BEER FAMILY

Idea projektu

The purpose of this project is to perpetuate the effort and sacrifice of Oskar Schindler. To achieve this in the form of the most natural and efficient materials, the project includes the past (The Villa), the present (Residential Buildings) and the future (The Pavilion).

Popis projektu

The villa will have have an adaptive reuse. We proposed new spaces for the community that contribute to the society including health facilities, cultural and educational activities, playgrounds for the kids, workshops for the elderly etc.

Technické informace

As part of the construction, the villa is an existing building. The main walls and the main construction is untouched but it needs a lot of repairs. We only demolished some of the thin walls to give us more space for the rooms needed and we also changed the outside facade. The other parts of the villa remain intact.
