This project is an interior design concept for a cafe located in a mountainous area. It aims to create a cozy and inviting space that blends harmoniously with the surrounding nature and offers visitors a unique experience. The main goal is to create a space that will become a haven for mountain lovers and travelers. The cafe should offer a comfortable place to relax after an active day spent outdoors and be a place where you can enjoy local cuisine, hot drinks and a friendly atmosphere. The project performs the following tasks:
1)Sustainability: The design must take into account environmental aspects such as energy efficiency and the use of local materials.
2)Adaptability: The interior must be adaptable to different weather conditions, offering warmth and comfort in the cold season and coolness in the heat.
3) Functionality: The space should be functional, with a comfortable layout and furniture suitable for a variety of events and meetings.
4)Warm and Cozy: Using soft lighting, comfortable seating and mountain-inspired decorative elements will create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
This project consists of the following parts:
The first zone is the entrance to the cafe and the dressing room, which is an integral part of a building of this type. Given the mountainous location, visitors need to leave bulky items in the dressing room during cold periods to avoid discomfort.
The second zone is a dining area combined with a bar area. There is a variety of seating: tables for two, tables for three, tables for four, and tables that can be connected for larger groups. Most of the tables are for many people, this is due to the fact that the cafe is located in a tourist area, where, according to statistics, the number of vacationing families is greater. Seating is located around the perimeter of the room, which allows you to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains and nature. In addition, the places themselves are divided into zones and separated from each other by wooden eco-partitions, which once again emphasizes the symbiosis of interior design and mountainous terrain. The bar area is represented by two large display cases with food and various drinks. The barista has all the necessary equipment for fast and comfortable work.
The third zone is a men's and women's toilet with a mother and child room. Each room has 3 standard cubicles, a washbasin for three and infinity mirrors.
The remaining areas are storage areas.
This structure is a frame type building and is located in the Alps. Its area is 388 square meters. Ceiling height is 3 meters 40 centimeters. The windows are panoramic to create impressive mountain views.
Natural materials such as stone, wood, glass were used to create a feeling of unity with nature. The wall decoration consists of decorative terracotta-colored plaster that imitates mountain terrain. The ceiling is made of wood in the shape of a semicircle. The furniture is presented in blue, wine, white, beige and sand colors, which emphasize naturalness.
The project contains several lighting scenarios:
In the hallway area, lamps are built into the ceiling, and ice lamps are installed on the walls, which imitate the sun and create a play of light and shadow.
In the dining area, two types of lamps are suspended: the first large lamps with dry foliage and flowers are installed above large tables, and the second glass compositions of 3 lamps are installed above small tables to create coziness and privacy. In addition, ice lamps are installed in the ceiling to create general illumination. Ice lamps in the form of circles are also used on the walls, which look especially interesting at sunset.
Ice lamps with an infinity effect are installed above the bar area. Undoubtedly, this attracts the interest of visitors, which makes them approach the display case.
In the area of the toilets and corridor the pattern with ice lighting continues, which leaves an impression for the whole next day.
Pots with flowers, as well as hanging dry leaves and flowers are used as decoration. They are intended to only emphasize solitude with nature, but not to distract all the attention of the visitor.
