Thanks to the rotation of the gables to the street part, we get better sunlight. By connecting the two buildings, we achieve an inserted element of common communication spaces with an extensive green roof. To the east, to the courtyard, we can situate the resting parts of both buildings.
From the common corridor there are two separate entrances to each apartment. These are, for the most part, symmetrical. Living rooms with kitchens are situated on the street, and bathrooms with toilets and bedrooms are connected to the courtyard facing the street. The children's room is located in the attic along with another bathroom, study and gallery above the living room. The second attic is complemented by a guest room instead of a children's room. Utility rooms are on a different floor for each apartment. One is located directly behind the main entrance and the other in 2.NP at the end of the corridor on the
west side. On the east side, there is an entrance to a common garden, both for both apartments and for the existing house on the opposite side.
The design is based on the wall system. The load-bearing walls are made of ceramic blocks, the ceilings are monolithic and the staircase is made of reinforced concrete. The roof above 3.NP is a saddle roof, above the 2.NP is covered with extensive greenery. The underground structure lies on reinforced concrete foundations and strip foundations.
