FROM THE RUBBLES OF BEIRUT Beirut Museum is about documenting the Beirut port criss, which has hil the world with a mixture of unresolved and unexplained confusion. grief and feeling of absence. The Brutalist, expressive design is used as a tool to represent the Lebanese history and suffering before, during and after the disaster

The museum takes us on a journey through Lebanon's rich history, of which parts help explain what led to such disaster, the Visitor then arrives at the explosion, a frozen moment in time offer which time rushes with a grasp on the reality of the situation, along with the etozolin that so much has been lost At the foot of the existing remains of the so are the belongings of me victims: a hall where visitors come to peace with the idea of their loss in preparation to end the journey by drifting off into the waters thot rushed to the void left by the explosion. Experience
The interior and exterior are composed of exposed concrete of which rough texture and heavy masses, along with minimal light enables visitors to symbolically experience what Lebanon and the Lebanese have been going through In every corner of the museum, you will find reminders that lead your emotions, from screens that display videos and pictures of the event to walls with the victims' names written on them and lighting rods in the water representing their souls. No connection with the world outside from the cold overwhelming atmosphere but a space where the building literally takes you into the remains of the silo in the silo hall Search

The museum's layout begins to take its form from an abstracted representation of the crack left in the ground resulting from the explosion. Gridlines are extended around the site. The form is established through a process of connecting the lines between important locations to the event, from the explosion to the silo to the water. That provided a starting point resulting in a violent, folded form
