Idea projektu

Within the fractured landscapes of Klarov, a convergence of topological, gothic, baroque, neo-classical, modernist, late/post-modern, and recent interventions coexist.

While unbuilt visions await realisation... soon something new will emerge. But how do we choose? To embrace novelty or remain entrenched in the past?

The challenge lies in grappling with history and context—understanding their elusive nature, fragmented yet ever-present. The question arises: how can history and context resonate with the future?

The task at hand is to shape a new neighborhood that is neither entirely novel nor bound by traditional context. Instead, envision a neighborhood that is partially rooted in its surroundings yet partially alien; a neighborhood we could label "New in Mala Strana".

Stylistically the project manages to merge multiple styles and stands in a genre of it’s own.
