VIVID - Cafe with Bleacher Seats

Idea projektu

The cafe and bleacher seat is located at the ground floor, to enhance its welcoming feeling as a public space, it designed to be a double volume void. The cafe highlighted as one of the most important and functional space for gathering, relaxing and socialization. It located at the main path of the innovation hub, in where it should be attractive and visible to the pass-by, where it aim to provide a in-between space for the visitors.

The cafe and bleacher seat have a close relationship with the natural and positive view since one of its side is opened to maximize the interaction for the interior and the exterior, bringing the natural scent into the interior activities.

The cafe and bleacher seat area is connected to the green path between the two towers, the green path acts as the main circulation for the whole building. The cafe is protected from the direct sunlight. Thus, the aim of the space is to provide a breakout area and attraction for the path users.

For the style and tread, it choose to be decor with the natural elements, not only involved with the defuse of natural lighting, also maximize the users of raw materials, for example, woods, stone, glass, and steel.

The industrial design highlights the rawness of the building materials used like bricks, concrete, metal pipes and ducts. They are left uncovered and become one of the design elements. Some would consider this design minimalism, but only in the sense of using elements at its barest with no adornment, not the fewer or simplest. In the design, the color code is following with the natural color of the materials used.

Technické informace

Space Planning - The aim of the space planning is to provide a relaxing, calm, cozy and natural feeling in the building. Thus, the main circulation is not planned to be busy since it connected to the loading area and protected from the noisy environment.

Natural material - The material chosen for the project is focusing one Eco-material, which can be defined to be enhance the environment improvement throughout the whole life cycle, and maintaining accountable performance. They are designed to minimize environment impacts. The materials is reflecting to the main concept of the project and mostly focusing on natural and raw materials.
