Idea projektu

A project in the Gedebage area of Bandung, with the aim of providing a sports facility for the surrounding community and commercial purposes. The building is also located in an area that features iconic buildings of Bandung, such as the Al-Jabbar Mosque. Therefore, the designed sports building should capture the attention of the local community and become an iconic structure among other buildings in Bandung.

Velocity Doom is a sports building used for sports facilities, namely tennis and futsal. The building is designed with a dynamic shape resembling ocean waves, with a futuristic iconic full white facade combined with a hexagonal curtain wall and a secondary skin at the front. Velocity Doom also provides various other facilities that can accommodate the people of Bandung. It starts with a well-arranged landscaping that can serve as a shelter for the surrounding community, as well as other commercial areas such as a plaza that offers a variety of tenants, a gymnasium, and a roof garden with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.

Technické informace

The project is a wide-span public building of the sports arena type, featuring a 50-meter wide space truss structure. It is located on Jalan Sor GBLA, Rancanumpang, Gedebage District, Bandung City, West Java Province, Indonesia. The area has a tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius. It is situated in a region surrounded by rice fields, with a site area of 10,000 square meters. The northern boundary of the site is adjacent to the GBLA Stadium, the eastern area borders the rice fields, the southern side is adjacent to the Padalarang-Cileunyi toll road and the rice fields, while the western area is bordered by a residential real estate area.
