Idea projektu

As the population expands and the city encroaches on the landscape, the countryside as a macro concept, is fading along with the landscape, rural human relationships and traditional farming patterns. We are experiencing a collapse and reconstruction of rural culture. The destruction of the original rural environment and habitat is inevitable. Where will the countryside go in the future in the context of new production relations and lifestyles?

Popis projektu

In the module that can grow with production and living scale, the huge pipeline traffic breaks the limitation of linear transportation, and the farmland folds into a huge vertical farm. In the reconstruction of villages in the city, this growing megastructure gives play to the labor advantages of the original population of the base and the advantages of the distance between the grain producing area and the urban center. The self-sufficiency and output of cash crops form an economic complementary relationship with the surrounding cities. We expect the megastructure to become a transit station between urban and traditional rural production and life patterns. It provides people from rural areas who come to the city to struggle a buffer when facing unfamiliar cities, and at the same time it gives play to their own advantages of life skills they have mastered.so as to realize a small cycle between the megastructure and the city, and make it a green reservoir of the city.

Technické informace

Growable design
For modules attached to the structural system of the structure, square is undoubtedly the most convenient and economical module selection. This can be done by assembling prefabs "Growth on branches", bringing life to structures.

Community-based design
The vertical transportation and public space design of the center allow the maximum radiation area of public facilities. The radiation distance of each vertical elevator is 100m, and the radiation distance of public space is 80m and 60m according to function.

Non-linear traffic design
We hope that with the support of future technologies, pipeline transportation will replace traditional automobile transportation modes, thereby replacing private transportation and realizing non-linear public transportation, greatly improving the flexibility of traffic layout.
