Leptir villa gardens

Idea projektu

Leptir draws from the characteristic of being “open and free” towards the surroundings of others. The villas hope to reflect the natural landscape and its deep-rooted local identity to openness in Croatia. By embracing an open floor plan design approach to experience the rich and diverse features of the Starigrad coastline anywhere within the villas.

Popis projektu

The villa follows the Croatian traditional construction technique from wooden joinery with a twist of modular assemblies. Material such as wood and stone are used natively and inspired by Modern Dalmatian processes.

The three villas comprise interlocking prefabricated modular structural joints, connecting the green gable roof, the internal spaces, and the wooden stilt piles’ structure to minimize the construction process cost of material assemblies.

A gabled design is used to take advantage of shade in a highly lit coastal region and its feature of capturing rainwater. In Leptir, the gabled roofs are infilled with a green roof and water collection system. Other shading systems come from the protection of an open design with shade awnings.

Technické informace

Ecocon prefabricated material can be potentially use as the construction material for the external stone tile walls and the primary wooden structure for its affordable adaptable panels, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

(Type A) The spaces include three bedrooms, a living room, one kitchen, a bathroom, and a pool. Total Square footage per meter: 119 sqm

(Type B) The spaces include four bedrooms, a living room, two kitchens, two bathrooms, a green deck, and a pool. Total Square footage per meter: 150 sqm

(Type C) The space includes five bedrooms, a living room, two kitchens, two bathrooms, a green deck, and a pool. Total Square footage per meter: 165 sqm
