The project challenge was to design a medical facility that would help in achieving the goals of the Medical City in The New Administrative Capital. which was to be a global destination for both patients and medical personnel alike, providing the best class of healthcare for all.

As a part of the medical city in the Administrative Capital in Cairo, we aim to provide longevity of health and well-being by managing, controlling, and preventing chronic disease progression by providing a better lifestyle and nutritional planning.

Longevity Centers are dedicated to the prevention and control of Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs), along with encouraging people on changing their lifestyles depending on proven interventions, treatments, and technologies based on in-depth studies.

In SKM longevity center, the concept relied on togetherness and inclusivity. The project’s idea was sparked by “Any lifestyle-changing decision is much easier when we do it together and accompanied by hope”. From this, all design elements and architectural features focused on achieving the appropriate circulation of the different users while giving the opportunity to meet and gather, forming a community that supports each other for the ease of change for all. The elements also focused on user visual experience with stability feeling while being as close to the ground as much as possible. openings were carefully designed to provide appropriate daylight and ventilation. The materials selected gave a feeling of warmth and coziness. Achieving togetherness while creating an atmosphere that gives a feeling of hope.
