Being unique from the neighborhood
Hotel designs target is attract the people by their hospitality. So try to think the things which makes them attractive from the neighborhood hotels is an essential thing. Going to find discovered sciences is supportive to reflect that idea behind the design. The law of force of attraction can reflect the hotels design conception which states that likes repel each other and unlikes attract each other. So the hotel design should be to differ from the neighborhood in terms of its Design style, Quality spaces and innovative things to attract humans psychology. By nature, we humans are also attracted by strange things.

The project is High-tech high rise hotel building structure. During the process there were a number of considerations to interpret those conceptual ideas on the design. The targets were focuses on the design style and philosophy, Natural elements and innovative things.
The project is located in Addis Abeba kirkos sub city around Mexico roundabout near to debrework tower. The action area covers 13,500 square meters and the built-up area is around 8000 square meters the rest is left for outdoor greenery and walking paths. The structure has 42 storey's including with the ground one. The podium has 4 storey's with different programs like restaurants, banquet halls, multipurpose halls, gymnasium, game zone, beauty saloon, Cinema and more. Rooms from 4-10 storey's are characterized by single, double, triple, quad, Queen size and king-size beds. Rooms from 11-20th are mini and master suits, but the 14th one is mini restaurant with swimming pools and mechanical room the rests from 21-40 are presidential and the 28th one is also left for mechanical room and 41st 42nd storey's are for penthouse.

Technické informace

The form by it self is target to confuse the wind and break the sun directions through it's voids and twisting character to keep the thermal comfort of any people who enters to the hotel.
Considerations in terms of design and spaces
Now a days sustainablity is under question mark in terms of highteck building construction products. The city Addis Abeba is also a victim by this revolution. climate change is also another factor. most of neighborhood structures skins are curtain glazed. Thermal comfort, magnificent visualization and energy efficient passive design are the targets to responds those climatic factors. those conceptions are considered on the building form and construction materials. the twisted volumetrics are a number of conceptions the first thing is those interlocked structures are prefabricated they can be easily installed and separate each other. the voids between each levels are responsible for Natural light and ventilation because of those green features from the inside and outside of the structure highly minimizes the usage of mechanical ventilation system . twisting voids are also plays a great role to break those sun and wind directions. magnificent quality spaces with natural features like 900 square meters Atrium space with green features and artificial pond around the central part of the structure used as a massive grand lobby and waiting space which is designed to attract that of humans psychology.

Considerations in terms of Inovations
one another attractive thing is value adding on the hospitality by looking for floating structural units which surrounds the superstructure. this system is inspired by an experiment which is called electromagnetic levitation (maglev). each floating units are a part of a superstructure and accessed through the bedrooms door. when the users wants to fly the system levitates the structure and when they want to back the system attracts those levitated structures to the superstructure. all units are typical with a queen size beds.
