Idea projektu

Time in which we actually live is more important than every future time, because for some us may be then too late. Taking everything into consideration, I designed area mostly on creating ecosystems counting with humans and connecting them with nature in time when they come to the designed area.

Popis projektu

Sight of the wide two thirds of unused parking area and green area used only by dog-walkers is slightly joyless. Project open ecological ways how to treat those area with grass and from concrete.
Preserving the grass is one of the main project aims beside the bringing shadow, nature, life and work with the climate changes. Area is designed for people who will not only pass by, because of visiting some official stuff, but for everyone who will stay. For those there is wide range of enjoyable activities that contain also relaxing, playing and some other feelings.

Technické informace

Technically the concrete parking area is changed for grass and this concrete is about to be crushed and reused in the designed area for most concrete stuff as for example new platform for entertainment and small performances or stone cube carpet platform under the statue of president E.Beneš, new benches bases in the shape of C moon.
Grass will be maintained by pair of phlegmatic ponies as the fact, that Spilberk park has its own ponies and I would be happy to continue with it as a mark of connections between some parks in Brno city.
Cube shapes that lead the ways through and out of the area are based on using kinetic power of walkers. Those pavement tiles work on their own when they produce light, but can work even together when they are gathering excess energy for example to charge mobile phone and small electric things.
