New symbol of Bratislava

Idea projektu

The idea of ​​the project is to create a new city symbol of Bratislava.

The building is harmonize with the monuments (such as the radio and television buildings, the cathedral) around it. The height of the project and the monument are approximately the same.

The project is based on the old building (laboratory on the area of the university ) and new levels (bubbles) added to it - therefore a link of times are created.

Rounded elements (bubbles) take affect of lightness and airiness in contrast to the environment.

Popis projektu

The ground floor of the building connects two streets (shopping and park) by creating new pedestrian aria. Additionally the courtyard is divided into zones with different functions. In the middle of the courtyard, there is a park with two pond for image creation of calmness in contrast to the show-mis of the building.

The project includes the entire requested program (offices, startups, etc). Each element (bubble) has a basic, and varying additional functions.

The bridges between the rooftops of the university buildings give a sense of a single whole. It also creates a visual connection with the environment.

Technické informace

The building consists of a Light Steel Structure.

The building envelope consists of horizontal aluminum profiles. Less often the profiles, the better the view of the city.
