Idea projektu

The subject of the study is the construction of a municipal, multi-family residential building at Al. Wojska Polskiego 25. The facility is located in the center of Kamienna Góra - a small town in the Sudetes in Poland.

The main motive of the project is openness and providing residents with closeness to nature. For this purpose, the shape of the building has been divided into two separate parts.
The first is the residential part which provides various types of apartments.

The second part of the building is a transparent volume, which contains a separate staircase - the main communication core, from which the platforms enter the main volume of the building. This space becomes a place for meetings and making neighborly relations. Glazing makes it possible to form a winter garden, in which space can be freely configured for inhabitants.

The subject of the study is the construction of a municipal, multi-family residential building at Al. Wojska Polskiego 25. The facility is located in the center of Kamienna Góra - a small town in the Sudetes in Poland.

The entire plot designated for investment is in an area of ​​particular flood risk. For this purpose, the project involves the erection of the building 80 cm above
the street level. Retaining walls are planned
to be placed on the eastern side. From the west side, the area is raised to the building level.

a place for meetings and making neighborly relations. Glazing makes it possible to form a winter garden,
in which space can be freely configured for inhabitants.

The facade also plays an important role. In the residential part, it is a wooden façade, referring to the buildings of shelters and guesthouses in the Sudetes.
In the communication shaft the extruded wooden structure serves as a frame for vertical greenery, which becomes a form of a municipal installation
in Kamienna Góra.

Technické informace

The development of the plot is mostly a biologically active area, the greenery design mainly includes planting various species of ornamental grasses. On the side of the yard, the paved surface is made of wooden boards with an irregular arrangement, and on the side of the street, the floor is made of paving stones.
The entire facility has been adapted to the needs of the disabled, the entrance to the building is preceded by
a ramp with an incline of 8% along the retaining wall, while a platform lift leads to the higher floors.

Thanks to the use of modular dimensions Structure and wooden prefabricated elements, size and quantity off different types of apartments are freely configurable. There are 11 types with an area from 24.8 m2
to 86 m2, which we are able to choose from twelve different building configurations with the number of apartments in the range 11-16.

The selected configuration with 14 apartments includes 8 types with a usable area from 24.8 m2
up to 53.7 m2. Each floor is dedicated to different types of apartments - there are apartments for disabled on the ground floor. On the first floor there are
3 types of apartments for 3 or 4 member family. On the second floor there are two types of studios – standard studios and studios with higher standard. On the top floor there are two-level apartments for five-person.
