The future of living in 2050

The city is dead, long live the village. The failure of modernism leads to an exodus of people from the city. The village is the goal. Work is no longer tied to the physical workplace
in the city, just as many services are moving to Virtual environments and "home offices". The place and environment is becoming
the new wealth. It is not about the small house and garden, but about the silence, the clean air, the security and the open horizon. The essence of man and his
finding Peace - Dasein. The project will be a link to the specific village of Plaveč / Znojmo, today 459 inhabitants/. It will be searched for
strategy for the next 50 years. Community housing or Cohousing today and in 50 years or "You choose your neighbours", a search for a strategy
urban development and housing model for freelancers, nomads and tradesmen.

A place that is remote from the rest of the community, yet close to all the action. It's private, quiet. On the edge of Plavec and nature. Ideal
place for freelancers who will have enough peace and quiet to live with family and work. Mr. Pondkeeper has a pond below this place
a set of ponds to be expanded in the future. Between these ponds will be a relaxing place and an imaginary "center"
for the new inhabitants of the area - the FREELANCERS.
The development proposed on this site is inspired in its shape and location by the original shape of Plavec. Looking at the
the map, one can imagine two separate parts of the village separated by the river. In the other parts of the village, the shape of the development
almost replicates the opposite built-up area, but in this 'spur' this is not the case. While on the north side of the river the houses
run westwards, on the south side it's as if part of the street is missing. I therefore design the street to be a natural and logical
complementary to the building structure of Plavec.
It creates a new road leading to the new development and also extends the already established street in this direction. It is stretching the existing
pedestrian route running under the newly proposed houses. Two footpaths are newly made from this road. At the beginning and at the end of the new
street. They serve as connectors between the two parallel paths.
At the beginning of the new street, a growing development is proposed connecting to the existing older workers' houses. This development in
the proposal, it is only a sketch of how the village should grow in these locations.
In addition, a new street is proposed. It is a street just made for people escaping the hustle and bustle of the cities, looking for peace and quiet.

The former agricultural areas are almost unused in many places. It is no different in Plavec. This area uses
only one company that rents one building, a gentleman who keeps sheep here and his neighbour who probably
lives here and also has sheep. They say she has goats too. Pretty poor use for such a large space. This place is in a dominant location. On the map.
looks like it's isolated from the rest of Plavec, but when you stand in Plavec, the buildings that are part of the site are visible from everywhere.
They seem to overlook the whole village. It is therefore a pity that they do not have a function adequate to their dominant position.
The first half of the complex probably dates from the time when the castle was built. The buildings are in the same style from the outside and
certainly don't look like other farm buildings. These buildings deserve to be renovated to be in a similarly handsome
condition as the castle. Their premises could be used as a new, larger kindergarten, school, health centre...
In the second half, I'm demolishing buildings that were flimsy and fragile to begin with. I'm working with the nomad as a man who rides
around the world and needs a summer job. They often go fruit picking. Because there are quite large orchards around Plavec,
I'm building a seasonal fruit-picking centre.

Město je mrtvé, ať žije ves. Selhání modernismu vede k odlivu lidí z města. Vesnice je cíl. Práce již není vázána na fyzické pracoviště
ve městě, stejně jako mnoho služeb se přesouvá do Virtuálního prostředí a “home offisů”. Místo a prostředí se stává
novým bohatstvím. Nejde o malý dům a zahradu, ale o to ticho, čistý vzduch, bezpečí a volný horizont. Esence člověka a jeho
nalezení Pokoje - Dasein. Projekt bude navázáním na konkrétní obec Plaveč / Znojemsko, dnes 459 obyvatel/. Bude hledána
strategie na dalších 50 let. Komunitní bydlení aneb Cohousing dnes a za 50 let aneb “Sousedy si vybíráš”, hledání strategie
urbánního rozvoje a modelu bydlení pro freelancery, nomády i živnostníky.

Místo, které je odlehlé od zbytku obce, zároveň blízko všemu dění. Je tu soukromí, klid. Na okraji Plavče a přírody. Ideální
místo pro freelancery, kteří tu budou mít dostatek klidu pro život s rodinou i pro práci. Pan rybníkář má pod tímto místem
soubor rybníků, který se má do budoucna rozšiřovat. Mezi těmito rybníky bude relaxační místo a zároveň pomyslné „centrum“
pro nové obyvatele této oblasti - FREELANCERY.
Zástavba, v tomto místě navržená, je inspirována svým tvarem a umístěním původním tvarem Plavče. Při pohledu na
mapu si lze představit dvě oddělené části obce, které od sebe roztíná řeka. V ostatních částech obce zástavba svým tvarem
téměř kopíruje protější zastavěnou plochu, ale v tomto “výběžku” tomu tak není. Zatím co na severní straně řeky domky
vybíhají směrem na západ, na jižní jako by chyběla část ulice. Ulici tedy navrhuji tak, aby byla přirozeným a logickým
doplněním stavební struktury Plavče.
Vzniká zde nová cesta vedoucí k nové zástavbě a také se protahuje již zavedená ulice tímto směrem. Je protažená stávající
pěší cesta vedoucí pod nově navrženými domy. Z této cesty jsou nově udělané dvě pěší cesty. Na začátku a na konci nové
ulice. Slouží jako spojky mezi dvěma souběžnými cestami.
Na začátku nové ulice je navržena ještě rostlá zástavba napojující se na stávající starší dělnické domky. Tato zástavba v
návrhu není řešena, jedná se pouze o nákres toho, jak by se měla obec v těchto místech rozrůstat.
Dále je nově navržena ulice. Je to ulice právě udělaná pro lidi utíkající před ruchem měst, hledající klid.

Bývalé zemědělské areály jsou na mnohých místech téměř nevyužívány. Není tomu jinak ani v Plavči. Tento areál využívá
jen jedna firma, která si pronajímá jednu budovu, pán, který zde chová ovce a jeho sousedka, která tady pravděpodobně
bydlí a má taky ovce. Prý i kozy. Na tak velký prostor dost chabé využití. Toto místo leží na dominantním místě. Na mapě
vypadá jako odlehlé od zbytku Plavče, když však stojíte v Plavči, budovy, které jsou součástí areálu, jsou vidět odevšad.
Jakoby shlížely na celou obec. Je proto škoda, že nemají funkci adekvátní svému dominantnímu postavení.
První polovina komplexu bude zřejmě z doby, kdy byl postaven zámek. Budovy jsou od pohledu ve stejném stylu a
rozhodně nevypadají jako ostatní zemědělské budovy. Tyto budovy si zaslouží rekonstrukci tak, aby byly v podobně hezkém
stavu jako zámek. Jejich prostory by mohly sloužit jako nová, větší mateřská škola, škola, zdravotní středisko...
Ve druhé polovině ruším budovy chatrné a od začátku křehce postavené. Pracuji s nomádem jako s člověkem, který jezdí
po světě a v létě potřebuje brigádu. Takoví často jezdí na sběry ovoce. Protože jsou kolem Plavče poměrně rozsáhlé sady,
stavím tu centrum pro sezónní sběr ovoce.
