The given project is a sub fire station which is going to be located at the site which is near the Rajagiriya flyover. specially according to analysis of this site, this land is more valuable land for any industries .So,if most of the land is not used, it is not suitable. Therefore the training centre is proposed to fulfil the other area which is remained. So the only firefighting training centre is located at Wellawatta, fire department centre said it is not enough for them.so this site is more stat able for it without disturbing main function of sub fire stations.

Normally taking about the hope it looks like a general idea. But locking at the essence of the activity which fire brigade doing, they always give the society to some kind of hope. actually, the hope which fire bridge give to the society is very unique. The main activity of the fire brigade is controlling, keeping down the fire and protect the life from fire. other activities such as protect the people from flood, cyclone have been added later.so this hope is based on the fire bridge protecting people from fire and they give hope which is about we are here to protect your life from fire to society. Because normally human body have been built to be pulled out from fire and the only people who fight with the fire is fire brigade. Only they have that ability. So, it has unique abstract imagery.so when primary user of the fire brigade (fire fighters) going through the space which based on this unique hope concept, they can experience hope which they give to society and they can get moral from it.

In consideration of the spatial progression, it is based on hope as a concept. The entrance point of the building also supports the spatial progression. In addition to that, serial vision concept have been used to guide firemen through the spatial progression.
When firemen come to the building, he can experience the unstable structure like broken down building. They would be able to see the rectangular shape stable red coloured door entrance and it attracts them. When one goes through the staircase, they can experience many distances by angled columns. After entering the building, one can experience the unstable darker area on the opposite side of the entrance, this area acts as the lobby are for individuals that come to the office, and they would be able to access the office through this area.
The opposite side of the entrance, there is a door and the burning red colour door is emitted through the door. This acts as a natural point of interest and a fireman can go through that.
When he is going through it, he can experience how human are suffering from fire. Specially the burned coloured columns and beams have been broken down over the human sculpture and behavior patten and the face of the sculpture represent how people are suffering at fire. This area is pathway area which directly goes to the canteen area in first floor from ground floor.
On the opposite side of the that area there is a door and pleasant comfortable light comes from it. This acts as a beacon of hope and attracts the user towards it. As a fireman moves there, the unstable quality is decreased and after that he can experience the human sculpture on the wall and face of the sculpture shows how people feel comfortable feeling with sunlight after suffering from fire.
This is climax point and marks the end of spatial progression, this provides motivation and signals to the firemen that they are bringing hope to people.
After experiencing the last point, directly entering to the canteen area and from canteen area one can directly enter to the garden at first floor. In the third floor there is lecture room and library and media room. This allows the training students to access the second floor through the staircase.
Apparate bay is located at ground floor and people can directly access to it through poles and stairs case at first floor. In addition to that, gym is also located in ground floor and control room is located alone in left side of the site.

Idea of structure of the design have be based on warehouse structure and materials are concrete,steel,and the glasses.as well the sun light have been used for light up the some design part in order to enhance architectural quality of the design
