Idea projektu

The idea of the project arises in generating a balance between architecture and natural green axis, understanding them as a single organism. The project seeks to enhance cultural value through equipment that allows diversifying the offer of activities and the creation of public spaces to rescue tourism in the sector.

Popis projektu

The project called WAYRA is a productive urban gallery that seeks interaction in the balance of production through the design of equipment and treatment of public space in a tourist sector due to its proximity to the “Atazo”. In design, pedestrians have priority, generating a friendly intervention with humans and the environment.
It seeks to strengthen four important factors in the field of production such as food, medicinal, artisanal and commercial related to the natural landscape.
Equipment such as workshops, restaurants, laboratories, flexible classrooms and open spaces related to internal activities are proposed, forming a community atmosphere.
The inhabitants of the sector can teach their knowledge by making various crafts to other nearby inhabitants and tourists, thus improving the economy in the sector.

Technické informace

Modules that have a plan and elevation relationship were established to facilitate replication in the design. The largest module is for display and the smallest is for production.
It was decided to use a wooden structure because it is the most environmentally friendly, and also allows its reuse if needed, columns, beams and pine wood joists are proposed, also a treatment on facades where the sun hits more strength, reason why partitions of horizontal slats are considered.
