PROJECTS FEEDBACK

Any participant in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition can ask a member of the international jury for feedback on his/her competition project. Jurors are assigned across continents at a ratio of one juror per student. The resulting gallery is a unique architecture textbook, created free of charge by those who wish to participate in our project and contribute their work to the education of the up and coming generation. We are honored that you are sharing your designs and experiences here.

Among several projects under - Schindler's Ark Saving Competition - that I reviewed I think your project closely follows the theme and overall context of the region. I like your process diagram and how you intend to maintain the overall look and appeal but the project could have been even more interesting if you had incorporated the actualities more strongly. History informs us that the place was used as a factory first for textile and later for enamelware; I strongly believe that traits of…

Your project holds a significant value. The site requires much needed refurbishment as it has been in a lot of controversies but I feel the approach you have taken to re-establish the identity does not hold the strongest value or support the northern region of the site. I feel you should have chosen the programs for the site very carefully by understanding the context thoroughly. In last decade many of the news agency and/or reporters or agencies have mentioned that the space hold the highest…

This is a very interesting proposal. However, please also consider the location of the exits on the ground floor. It would be beneficial to highlight more about the procedures for elderly evacuation, as they might not be able to bring themselves down easily. Will there be assistance available for them, not just in the form of ramps but also elevators for their daily activities? Additionally, have you considered the distance to medical services and the accessibility of ambulances within the…

The approach adopted is commendable, particularly in terms of integrating biophilic principles and energy self-sufficiency. I especially appreciate the concept of alternating between void and solid, which gives the project an intriguing spatial dynamic. However, I believe that a more in-depth consideration of the site's morphology would be a valuable asset to this project. A detailed analysis of the topographical, climatic, and contextual characteristics would allow for better adaptation of the…

Dear Ahmed Sameh and Mai Diab You have done a very good job in designing urban housing entitled "WAVES Compound". It is really aesthetical pleasing functional and implementable. Though I have very few comments for improvement. 1. In you design you have done a very good job for coming up with 32 buildings that have variety in terms of building typology (5) and considered 4 income levels. The gap is that you should have also included variety of Architectural plans in terms of bedroom number…

The interior design of the Childcare Center is an example of how contemporary interior design can effectively respond to the needs of parents and children, while offering an aesthetic and functional space. At a time when parents are balancing professional duties and family life, such places become invaluable support, helping to create strong family bonds and promoting the comprehensive development of children. 'Entering' the panel presentation scene by scene made me feel like I was being insinuated that architecture should not be different from what grows in nature. This is a great concept, starting from the solar radiation on-site context and the issue of urban heat in Taipei. You and the team bring back the touch of a developing city regarding 'ecology'. Process diagrams are fascinating in the macro realm, such as seeing plants being sown. The tower's geometry is also not arbitrary in its decision…

The first impression is there are many line elements (vertically and horizontally), and the lettering of the building name needs to be more balanced (just simple and not that much) The statement "Business incubator to improve the city's local economy" must accompany more open space for the local community. Openness can be linked to landscape organizations so that it doesn't seem self-limiting (exclusive). The ordering principle and roof completion in the top-view site plan are well done.…
