The project idea is based on integrating the architectural element with the surrounding nature, to achieve the desired goal of the facility, in addition to creating a new experience for visitors.
The project consists of two main Zones:
1-The Research zone.
2-The Visitors zone.
First: The Research zone: an area designed for researchers to study the nature of birds present in the region, by observing birds from the research area, in addition to a cage integrated with the building and connected to the laboratory area to study birds up close.
Second: The visitors’ zone: which is designed to provide a different experience for visitors by walking in a corridor and getting to know the types of birds in the area, then entering the inner garden and walking on the bridge to observe the birds up close and enjoy nature along the journey, then the possibility of seeing the garden from another external angle, in addition to the opportunity to see the water birds up close by going down to the cafeteria area, and enjoying a light meal while enjoying the picturesque view.
The construction of the building: -Rammed earth as it is highly sustainable.
-Coating glass: to protect the birds by reflecting ultraviolet rays.
